Art in Education Grant Request Form
The Mother Lode Art Association (MLAA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to promoting and supporting the arts in our community of Tuolumne County, California. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we provide grants to support arts education programs. Applicants may complete the form below to apply, or download the form to print and mail.
Grant Criteria
Applications will be reviewed to ensure they meet the following requirements:
1. Grant to be spent on students in Tuolumne County for visual arts projects or materials
2. Grant money is for classes and groups, not for individual students
3. Grants are for projects that are non-political
4. Materials must be appropriate for the project and the group’s age level
5. Grants will be distributed directly to teacher’s classroom supply fund and are not
intended for a school district’s general fund
6. Grantees must be an employee or directly affiliated with a school
7. Applications can be accepted or denied at the committee’s discretion
