Linda has been a professional cake decorator for over 50 years. She retired a few years ago and took up clay, watercolor, and mixed media art since relocating to Sonora from the Bay Area/Berkeley area. After years of creating show pieces and fulfilling requests from customers,"It's nice to make a piece of non-edible art that you can keep". Some elements never change no matter what your medium is; more colors, different textures, sparkly or matte. So, with edible supplies and non-edible supplies her work area is full of inspiration, masked in disorganized clutter. She crosses over her skill from cake decorating to icing bags filled with clay slip and piped out on a bowl.
So much to do, and now she has the time!
