Sherri's jewelry is inspired by objects that carry a sense of time - weathered materials, natural forms, and historic ornament. She's worked as a jewelry artist and silversmith for over fifteen years, beginning with designs rooted in botanical and celestial themes before discovering antique jewelry dies that profoundly shaped my practice.

Many of the steel dies she uses date from the mid-1800s through the early-1900s. These rare tools allow her to create contemporary work that draws directly from the past. Her designs explore themes of nature, mythology, and history, with influences from Art Nouveau, Archaeological Revival, and Celtic and Norse traditions.

She works primarily in sterling silver, as well as 14k gold fill, 14k gold, bronze, brass, copper, and pewter. Materials include freshwater pearls, ancient Roman glass, and gemstones such as tourmaline, moonstone, sapphire, and labradorite. Pieces are hand-fabricated or developed from master models she created and cast, then finished, assembled, and stone-set by hand.
