Stefany N Haynie is from Jamestown, California. She studied at Columbia College before pursing a Bachelors of Fine Arts and Literatures of the World at UC San Diego. She continues to study Biological Science and Sustainable Design at University of Arizona online.
Her work explores themes of Conservation and the inner Psyche, with connections to community work, and awareness of sustainable practices and ecosystem players.
She combines portraiture and mixed media by depicting abstract landscapes, and images of people and animals. She primarily studies birds focusing on pollinator cycles and conservation, but has been working into illustrations of other notable species such as dragonflies, butterflies, and a variety of Native flora.
In scultpure Stefany combines found objects with discourse on native and non-native biodiversity by using resin to show case different botanical samples.
